Industry Veteran To Lead Expansion of Global Services
Platform
Chicago, October 24, 2008
- NOI Strategies is
pleased to announce the addition of real estate
operations and finance expert Jack Gerber to its
management team.
For over 22
years, Jack has provided executive-level advisory
services to commercial and corporate real estate
companies. In addition, Jack has had considerable
experience as an expert consultant on behalf of numerous
Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. NOI
Strategies will leverage Jack’s broad strategy,
operations, and technology background to facilitate the
company’s global expansion, continued development of its
new RE-Sourcing services platform, and expansion into
new markets.
Jack was most
recently founder and President of Areté Operations
Group, a management consulting firm that provided
business process re-engineering and technology
optimization services. Previously, Jack served as SVP of
Finance & Accounting and Interim CIO at The Mills
Corporation. Part of his mission there was to turn
around areas identified as high risk due to operational
weaknesses. Accordingly, Jack successfully designed and
implemented a company wide reorganization that included
the establishment of a shared services center and the
outsourcing of non-core technologies and personnel.
Jack served as
Director, National REIT and REOC Practice for KPMG
Consulting and Vice President & National Practice leader
for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young’s Engineering, Construction
and Real Estate Practice. Jack leveraged his background
in real estate operations and finance to develop and
implement innovative process and technology solutions.
Jack was also
Senior Manager of GA Partners/Arthur Andersen where he
was responsible for the delivery of transaction-based
advisory services, including fairness opinions and
financial and market due diligence. Jack provided
financial advisory and other services in support of four
REIT IPOs and related debt offerings and was a key
player in the development of the mark-to-market
analytical approach embraced by the rating agencies in
connection with CMBS transactions.
